Our 2 bdrm cottage with optional 3 bdrm bungalow is a wonderful retreat for visitors who want to enjoy our simple Hawaiian life style. Away from developments and the public. Yet conveniently located for exploring both sides of the island.
It's very popular with families or groups of friends, as well as couples and even single persons.
This cottage sits on acres of land and is filled with original art by Maui Island Artist Rosamond Prince (Diana's mother). Close enough to the ocean to hear it and walk to it.

| Policies: | Mahinani's Terms & Conditionsmahinanis.comSECURITY DEPOSIT: Your security deposit of $200.00 for the one bedroom cottage and $300.00 for the two bedroom cottage is due within 7 days of making your reservation. The deposit is to be paid in U.S. funds, by personal or agency check or money order only. If the deposit is not received within 7 days, your reservation will automatically cancel. The security deposit will be returned to you within 30 days of your departure. Deducted from the security deposit will be: (1) standard cleaning fee, (2) any excessive check-out cleaning charges, (3) charges for missing items, (4) any damages.RENT: The full rental payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. If your payment is not received by the due date, your reservation will be subject to cancellation. Rent must be paid in U.S. funds. Check, Money Order, Travelers Check, Visa or Master Card. CANCELLATIONS: You have the right to cancel with 30 days written notice. With timely cancellation notice, all advance funds will be returned less the $50.00 cancellation fee. If less than 30 days written notice, all advance funds will be forfeited unless we can re-book your rental dates. No refunds will be given for early departure, as you are responsible for the entire time booked once within the non-cancellation period.TRAVEL INSURANCE: We advise guests to secure travel insurance to protect you against any cancellations that may occur.OCCUPANCY: The residences have a maximum occupancy and restrict events of any nature unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to your arrival. The rent rate is based on a specific number of people in the guest party. Additional guest(s) may alter the rent rate.CLEANING: The home will be expertly cleaned prior to your arrival, and again after your departure. The standard fee ($100.00 /1bd.) ($125.00 /2bd.) ($150.00 /2bd. & bungalow.) for these cleanings will be deducted from your security deposit.CHECK-IN TIME: 4 PM CHECK-OUT TIME: 10 AMMAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS: We make every effort to ensure that all equipment within the residence is in working order. In event of a breakdown, we will strive to repair it as soon as possible after being notified of a problem. Guest agree that Landlord or its agents may enter the premises for effecting repairs and/or maintenance or for other necessary purposes. We cannot guarantee that the television, appliances, etc. will not break down during your stay and therefore, no refunds or adjustments will be made for mechanical failure. Furthermore, there will be no refunds or adjustments made for any other unexpected situation beyond our control such as but not limited to bugs, rodents, roosters, weather, noise, construction, repairs, and the like.FURNISHINGS AND TELEPHONE: Our home is fully furnished including all linens and kitchenware. There is no charge for on-island or credit card calls. Non-toll free direct dial long distance calls are blocked and do not accept collect calls. Please use a calling card for all long-distance phone calls.LIABILITIES: Owners are not responsible for articles lost, stolen, or left behind in the home.
